Maureen Dowd strikes again: Compares Palin to a Lancome Rep

She imagines a conversation between Barack Obama and West Wing president Bartlet:
Bartlet: I didn’t expect you to be getting beat by John McCain and a LancĂ´me rep who thinks “The Flintstones” was based on a true story, so let’s call it even... and I don’t know whether or not Governor Palin has the tenacity of a pit bull, but I know for sure she’s got the qualifications of one

Not to rain on the parade of righteous anger and lacking substance. The quote is written by Aaron Sorkin not Maureen Dowd. The act or reading the first paragraph reveals that the imagined fictional conversation was authored by Sorkin.
